Good news and even more after..

The good news is that at about noon, the hotel e-mailed to let me know that the airport had dropped off my bags.

To celebrate i decided to check out this local supermarket. Inside i found italian wines... and man was i in heaven. Wines started at 2 eur and a good bottle could be had for about 7 eur. I had to buy 4 bottles... we'll see tonight if the 2 eur one tastes any good... Then to top things off i bought a large brick of cheese (romano i think) for 3 eur... i think i might have to move here...
